New Yamaha Super Tenere 1200 video

Yamaha has released a promotional video of the new 1200cc Super Tenere – the upcoming rival to the BMW R1200GS, Triumph Tiger 1050 and KTM 990 Adventure.

The video was shown on Yamahas’ stand at the Tokyo Show in October, where Yamaha revealed the cloth Super Tenere concept bike. It confirms the new parallel-twin Yamaha will feature:

– traction control
– linked brakes
– shaft drive
– a side-mounted radiator

Other than that, the video’s a predictable mish-mash of camels, sand and Paris-Dakar riders making 90mph across dunes look like a pop to the shops.
