Moto Guzzi cash boost enough to make concept bikes real

Just weeks after Moto Guzzi stunned the world with three gorgeous prototypes at the Milan motorcycle show, the company has confirmed it has received £9million from owner Piaggio.  

According to a bike industry manufacturing expert, the huge cash injection would be sufficient to take one of Guzzi’s concept bikes into production.

The expert, who did not want to be named, told MCN: “This is a significant amount of money for a manufacturer the size of Moto Guzzi and although there are a number variables, there is room within that sort of investment to build an all-new engine and chassis.”
