Rever Corsa’s £33k all-carbon Ducati 1198

1 of 1

This is the first picture of the ultimate Ducati 1198 – the £33,000 carbon-fibre clad Rever Corsa 1198 Nero Strada.

Just ten of the stunning machines will be built in either road or race spec. Starting with a brand new 1198, Rever Corsa strip the bike to nothing and rebuild it with some of the best (and most expensive) parts you can buy.

The parts list is huge – the highlights include a full carbon fibre bodykit, BST carbon wheels, Ohlins FGRT 803 forks and a DU788 TTX shock.

Higher-spec Brembo monobloc four-piston calipers and RCS master cylinder look similar to stock but give even more braking for the lightened machine.

The bike is yet to be weighed, but it’s estimated that at least 13kg has been shaved from the bike, and the full Akrapovic exhaust system also fitted should boost power by around 10bhp.

If that’s not enough, the options list is even more jaw-dropping – a titanium frame in the original dimensions, carbon fibre steering yokes and a 200bhp supercharger kit (currently being developed to fit neatly under the fairing are all options!

The race version (called the Nero Corsa) comes to the same specification ready race-prepped without the road parts. Both bikes will be set up individually to suit their owners. The bike makes it’s official debut at the PGA Golf Tournament in California on September 28 – but it’s currently away for secret filming for a rap star’s video!
