New 2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200 spied by MCN testers

MCN has spied and got up close to Ducati’s stunning new Multistrada 1200 while out on test in Italy.

Senior Road Tester Adam Child and MCN photographer Ian Jubb were in Bologna taking part in a road test when they spotted the Multistrada being ridden by one of Ducati’s test riders.

The Ducati factory is based in Bologna and the eagerly-awaited new Multistrada 1200 is thought to be undergoing final testing in preparation for the world press riding launch at the end of February.

Photographer Jubb managed to grab a handful of pictures of the Multistrada in action and Child chased after the new Ducati before the test rider got away.

“On the icy roads you could see both the traction control working and, on the dry bits, how quick it is,” said Child. “It’s phenomenal.”
