Triumph Tiger Explorer spotted testing

Published: 08 December 2011

Triumph’s all-new Tiger Explorer is currently undergoing final testing – as these pics taken in Cornwall this week prove.

Snapped by MCN Senior Road Tester Adam Child in a motorway services near Exeter they’re obviously of a well-used, fully laden prototype Explorer.

Child said: “It looked like it had been really well used. Its luggage was held on with a strap, the rider’s heel plates were well worn and some of the brackets were rusty. It was also obviously being used to test heated grips and the like and had some unusual switchgear.”

MCN’s due to get a first ride on the bike – hopefully a less worn example! – early in the new year.
