Peugeot Onyx concept unveiled

This is French car/scooter/cycle firm Peugeot’s latest concept vehicle, the Onyx Supertrike, as unveiled at the Paris Motor Show.

Although at first glance it seems to be just another MP3-alike, there’s much more to it: the detachable ‘hump’ in the middle is claimed to allow it to switch between normal scooter/commuter style, with the rider’s legs in the gap or, with the hump in place, it’s ridden in sporty, superbike fashion.

It has a hybrid of a 400cc single allied to a 45kw electric motor.
