The new CCM Spitfire FT6 Flat Tracker - which MCN exclusively revealed earlier this month - is currently on display at Motorcycle Live, and selling fast.
The Flat Tracker is the latest model in the Spitfire range, which CCM first unveiled at the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show in February. CCM sold all 150 examples of the base Spitfire within a week. That was quickly followed by the Spitfire Cafe Racer and Spitfire Scrambler.
Speaking at the show, Head of Customer Experience for CCM, John Drogan, said: "It's been the star of the show for us, and so many people have said it's their bike of the show. It's selling incredibly well. We've had about 80% of the sales at the show so far and if the sales carry on at this rate there won't be any left by the end. We expect the Flat Trackers to be ready by late spring."
The FT6 is based around the same trellis frame and 600cc single-cylinder engine as the other Spitfire models, and is inspired by early AMA flat track bikes, as well as CCM's European Championship-winning bike ridden by Marco Belli.
Body panels on the new model are made from carbon fibre, and the CNC-machined alloy wheels are completely bespoke.
A limited run of 250 FT6s are on sale now.
See all the hot new 2018 bikes at Motorcycle Live until November 26.
