The 2020 Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory has finally been given Öhlins electronic suspension.
Its Smart EC 2.0 system is different to that of the Tuono Factory, has been co-developed by Aprilia and Öhlins and is claimed to cut lap times on average by 0.5sec compared to the mechanical set-up. Aprilia are also eager to point out that the system’s ability to react to the surface means greater comfort on the road.

Carbon goodies and new hues for Aprilia’s Tuono models
Next year’s Tuono 1100 Factory gets subtle updates in the form of new carbon fibre front mudguard, side panels and engine covers made from the lightweight weave, to ‘further highlight its simply unrivalled position.’
It also gets a new 'Atomico Racer' paint scheme inspired by the colours of the RSV4 Factory and to further distinguish the Factory from the base Tuono 1100, which
comes in either red or grey.
