Just like lots of new bikes this year, the updates to the 2020 Kawasaki Z650 are designed to squeeze it through the new Euro5 emissions tests, saving time for a big update in the future.
So the Z650 now runs cleaner thanks to a new exhaust and revised airbox. But the rest of the bike receives minor tweaks including new Dunlop rubber, thicker pillion seat foam and a slight aesthetic rework around the front.
The Zed also now sports a fancy 4.3in full-colour TFT dash, which brings with it a suite of fancy tech all activated through a Bluetooth app and including vehicle info, GPS ride logs and even phone notifications. The new bike should be arriving soon – expect it to cost around £6500.
