UK based CCM have released another bike into their popular Spitfire lineup, this time built for people who want to have fun off-road as well as on. The Maverick takes their tried and true formula, tweaking it slightly to make a unique dual sport offering.

As it’s a Spitfire, it’s powered by the familiar 600cc single that produces 55bhp and 43 ftlb of torque but there’s a small update with a new Magura and Oberon clutch for improved shifting. That might not sound like much compared to modern machines but the Maverick weighs just 150kg (kerb).

To go with the off-road intentions the Maverick has new wheels built by Haan, along with Mitas E7+ dual sport tyres. The low-slung exhaust is gone in favour of high-level twin brushed stainless steel silencers while the steel trellis frame has a Noir Sable hard powder coat finish for an extra resilient coating.

There’s also a handful of performance upgrades including Öhlins suspension front and rear for £4699 and a twin Brembo front braking system to replace the stock J.Juan set up for £1099.
