Triumph have launched a new special edition of their Tiger 900 adventure bike range to mark Iván Cervantes’ 2022 victory at the gruelling Baja Aragón race.

Competing on a modified Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro himself – finishing the 450km course one hour and six minutes ahead of second place – the five-time Enduro World Champion’s achievement will now be marked with a £13,995 Tiger 900 Rally Aragón and £13,695 Tiger 900 GT Aragón.

Both will be in dealers from the week commencing 24 July and will only be available to purchase throughout 2023 – featuring new colours and trim levels to set them apart from the standard line-up.

As such, the Rally will get a mixture of Matt Phantom Black, Matt Graphite and Crystal White, plus yellow accents, and a twin colour seat.

The special Triumph Tiger 900 GT also gets a two-tone perch, with the bike painted in Diablo Red, Matt Phantom Black, and Crystal White. Engine bars will also come as standard on both machines, with subtle Aragón Edition logos in the paint work. The internals remain as standard.

What makes Iván’s victory more impressive is that he also finished just 11th in the Scratch classification – a class also shared with purpose-built 450cc rally motorcycles.

Triumph have made no secret that there are a number of 250cc and 450cc motocross and enduro motorcycles currently in development, so it stands to reason that we could see the Spanish off-road pro return in 2024 on a purpose built racer, aiming for victory in this class.
