Arai Renegade V Outline - Gloss Red - £529.99
Designed with those riding cruisers in mind, the Renegade V Outline looks aggressive but is comfortable all day. The interior can be removed for washing and there’s cut-outs ready for speaker installation.
Dexter Marty Fifty Niner - £144.99
A cool looking retro helmet for a bargain price, the full-face fibre-glass helmet with peak buttons and a removable washable interior has all the frills you’d expect from a genuine antique helmet. Perfect for posing around town, wouldn’t recommend for the track or touring.
HJC IS-17 Marvel – Deadpool - £229.95
There’s nothing wrong with a bit of fun, that’s what motorbikes are all about, so if you want to dress as a Marvel anti-hero, go for it. HJC has put a Deadpool design onto its excellent IS-17 helmet. Just remember you won’t heal like he does if you have a wreck.
Bell MX-9 Adventure Mips Torch - Fluo Orange / Black - £189.99
Off-road helmets look great and tend to be cheap but they’re impractical and not too comfy for long rides. Enter the Bell MX-9 Adventure which merges the style of off-road with useful touches like a visor and still keeps the price down.
AGV Sports Modular Tricolore - Matt Carbon / Italy- £599.99
Flip-front helmets have come on in leaps and bounds, and the AGV Sports Modular looks and feels like a standard helmet (until you flip it open, obviously), partly because it’s so incredibly light and comfortable.
Shoei Neotec 2 - Excursion TC6 - £599.99
Great looking helmet from Shoei stuffed with features like noise isolating cheek pads and an internal sun visor. It comes prepped for a Sena SRL communication system too.
AGV Legends X3000 Limited Edition - AGO 1 – £549.99
A retro style helmet but with a serious attention to detail and beautiful finish in trademark Agostini colours. Lightweight fibreglass construction with classic button visor and suede fabric interior.
HJC are really cornering the market for fun helmet designs at the moment. To go alongside their existing Marvel, Disney and Star Wars designs, they have announced upcoming helmets featuring Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc and a Star Wars inspired helmet, based on a Storm Trooper.
If that all seems a bit light-hearted, how about an exact replica of the Shoei worn by Peter Hickman at this year’s Isle of Man TT? Shoei are making 666 individually numbered helmets which feature the Iron Maiden Trooper design, and come with a box of beer-themed goodies too.
