Hislop takes Silverstone Superpole

Steve Hislop is on pole for Monday’s MCN British superbike opener at Silverstone with Sean Emmett (Ducati), John Reynolds (GSX-R1000) and John Crawford (GSX-R1000), making up the front row.

Defending champion Reynolds lapped four tenths of a second slower than Hislop’s Ducati.

The rest of the top ten Superpole line up is: 5. Rutter (Ducati) 6. Thomas (Ducati) 7. Crafar (R1), 8. Richards (Kawasaki ZX-7RR), 9. K Harris (GSX-R1000), 10. Young (GSX-R1000).

Shane Byrne crashed his Ducati during the warm-up and did not compete in Superpole but he will race on Monday.
