Young off-road talents will get a new 125cc supercross championship this winter, with the overall winner joining the Pro Circuit team for the first three races of the 2003 US Supercross series.

The SX Junior Eurocup will take place between the end of October and the beginning of December 2002, alongside national and international events. It’s open to 26 championship regulars, with four wildcards at each event, competing for guaranteed prize money down to 15th place.

Riders must be between 15 and 18 years old, and all 30 riders will go straight into two semi-finals, from which the best 14 will make it through to the final.

To enter, the rider needs to be a citizen of the ECC, born between 1st Jan 1984-Dec 31st 1987, and must have a U.E.M (European Cycle Union) Licence.
