Fast Eddy’s back at Castle Donington

Four-times world enduro champion Paul Edmondson will race at the opening round of the British International Motocross Championship at Castle Donington on the ex-Stephen Sword factory Husqvarna 125.

Edmondsonis taking a break from his assault on the world enduro championships to take in a rare motocross race as part of the Motorex Husqvana team.

“I’d entered the series at the start of the year as I always enjoy racing motocross,” said Edmondson.

“Getting the chance to race the factory 125 means I will have every chance of a good result.

“Although I don’t race that much motocross I’m really looking forward to racing at Castle Donington. ”

The series opener is at Castle Donington is on Sunday May 5 and Monday May 6. Sword, who has signed for the Albion KTM team, will be bidding to make an impression on his new 125cc machine.

The 250cc class will see KTM pair Jamie Dobb and Gordon Crockard race each other for the only time on home soil this season.
