McCulloch steps in for crocked Crawford

With John Crawford still not fit after his huge spill at Silverstone, his ETI Racing squad have drafted in Ross McCulloch to ride its BSB Suzuki GSX-R1000 at Oulton Park on the May Day Bank Holiday.

McCulloch is no stranger to the bike or the squad – he’s ETI’s regular Superstock rider.

Ian Simpson ETI team manager told MCN ” John is still not 100% fit after his high speed crash at Silverstone.

” After completing only a few laps at Donington during the first qualifying session John came into the garage and said he was feeling light headed and finding it hard to concentrate. We had a talk and I made the decision that he should rest and not race ” .

Crawford is expected to recover in time for rounds nine and 10 of the MCN-backed championship at Snetterton on June 3.
