Carmichael for AMA "Athlete of the Year"

Ricky Carmichael has been nominated for the 2002 AMA Athlete of the Year award in recognition of his sensational performances in 2002.

The award is given to the rider considered to have the most outstanding season in all disciplines of AMA Pro Racing.
