Pastrana out from AMA Supercross

1 of 1

AMA Supercross star Travis Pastrana will miss the next few rounds of the series in order to recover from a variety of injuries.

Pastrana is famed for both his racing career, and his freestyle stunt antics. His latest injury, however, came from swimming, when he injured his left shoulder. Combined with carrying a knee injury, Pastrana made the decision to pull out of the series for a while.

Pastrana said, ” The last few weeks I have been limited in my training due to my knee injury. While swimming, I re-injured my left shoulder. This made me realize that I would not be able to run in front with the other top racers. Yesterday, I made the final decision to pull out with a renewed focus on rehabilitating my body and mind to get 110-percent healthy. So, when I come back, I will be able to run in front and win races.”
