Honda’s Kevin Windham took his second victory of the AMA motocross season at Washougal Motocross Park on Sunday.

With his previous win halting Ricky Carmichael’s record winning streak, Windham has now recorded two consecutive victories, moving to within 47 points of the reigning champion.

Windham took the win in both motos, with Carmichael following him home in second. Mike LaRocco took third overall, with a third and fourth, making it an all-Honda podium.

In the 125cc class, James Stewart took his fourth straight victory, but it was KTM’s Grant Langston who moved into the championship lead with a fourth and fifth. Fellow KTM rider Ryan Hughes took second overall, with Michael Byrne third.

Stewart’s wins moved him to fourth place in the championship standings.
