Emmett on pole for Brands

Sean Emmett has broken the 46 second lap barrier on the Brands Hatch Indy circuit to qualify on pole position for tomorrow’s round of the British Superbike championship.

Emmett finished the second session with a best time of 45.811, ensuring he starts at the front of the grid. Also on the front row will be the two Rizla Suzukis of John Reynolds and Yukio Kagayama.

Michael Rutter also improved to go fourth quickest, while Dean Thomas, Glen Richards and Scott Smart couldn’t improve on the times they set in the morning qualifying session.
