British MX at Hungry Hill

Race fans who prefer their action fast and dirty have a non-Brands option this weekend, the British four-stroke motocross championship hits Hungry Hill.

Brad Anderson (O’Neal Yamaha), Wayne Smith (Innovate Honda), Mark Jones (EA/Dirtbike Store KTM), Glen Phillips (O’Neal Yamaha), Alex Rach (Innovate Honda) and David Campbell head into the sixth round of the series battling for the lead.

Reigning champion Campbell has ground to make up on the leading five – who are all within just 40 points of each other. There are two rounds after remaining after the August 7 one.

Timed qualification starts at 9.30am and racing at 12.30pm at Hungry Hill farm Cleobury Mortimer, on the A4117 near Kidderminster. Call 07850 598886 for details.
