Haslam heads BSB test

Leon Haslam scored the fastest time at the official BSB test at Silverstone on Tuesday (August 2).

Airwaves Ducati team-mate Gregoria Lavilla was third quickest.

Haslam’s best was 1:26.684s with Lavilla notching 1:27.895s. The season resumes at Silvestone on August 19.

Haslam said: “I’m really happy to be quick all day and consistently fastest on race tyres in the three sessions, the same as last week at Cadwell Park. I’ve been looking forward to the last few rounds of the season and this will give me a lot of confidence for the races. I lapped just under the lap record and completed 84 laps on various tyres so I will be completely ready when the season resumes”.
