Haslam fastest in test

Airwaves Ducati riders Leon Haslam was fastest in the official British Superbike test at Cadwell Park on Wednesday (July 27).

Teammate, Gregorio Lavilla, spent his time learning the track ready for the race there on August 29.

Haslam’s lap time was 1:28.763s. He said: “I’m really happy to be consistently quick all day, lapping almost 0.4s under the lap record. We’ve worked on plenty of aspects of the bike set up and it was excellent to have Dunlop here with us to try new tyres. I’ve not been here for two years so it was good to re-acquaint myself with the track and I’m looking forward to continuing the progress next week at Silverstone”.

The team now heads for a test day at Silverstone on August 2 before the BSB season reconvenes there on August 21.
