Smart signs for Vivaldi

After being dropped by the Rizla Suzuki team Scott Smart wasted no time and has signed up to ride with Vivaldi Kawasaki.

Smart rode a Kawasaki ZX-10R in 2004 and showed real promise on the bike. His new team is younger and smaller than the Hawk Kawasaki team he rode with before but his experience on the ZX-10R will be invaluable.

Smart hopes that he will be able to use his knowledge to develop the bike and help out his team-mates as well.

The Vivaldi team will now run three machines in BSB with Ben Wilson and Tristan Palmer piloting the other two.

“The Vivaldi Racing team are one of the friendliest and most professional teams in the paddock and I am sure we will have a long and happy relationship. I will be able to share my knowledge and experience of the ZX-10 with both Ben and Tristan, which they can use in the second half of the BSB campaign.”
