Club rookie sets records

At his first ever race meeting, 19-year-old Tom Gazzard won all four races, set the fastest lap, and was awarded the ‘Rider of the Meeting’

Riding for Go Star racing, the RAF trainee engineer competed in the BMRC Rookie 600 series. The same team also saw Terry Olliphant win four races on his own debut in 2004. Gazzard is now looking forward to the rest of his first racing season.

“We believe Tom has a great future and will go far in the sport,” said team manager Ian Porter.
