21k at Dirt Bike Show

The biggest-ever attendance for the Dirt Bike Show saw just under 21,000 people attend over three days.

Big launches at the show included Aprilia with the V-twin RXV and SXV dirt bikes. Other highlights included Beta’s Enduro RR range, CCM’s FT-35 flat-tracker, Gas Gas Pro Trials 250, 280 and 300cc bikes, and Honda’s new CRF250-R/ Huqvarna had the TC250 enduro, Kawasaki showed the KX250F and 450F, and KTM showed the 250 SX-F. The Suzuki RM-Z450 and Yamaha YZ450F and 250F were also on show, as was the Thumpstar 125cc BSF spar carbon minibike.

Alongside the modern machinery were iconic trials and motocross bikes from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, and the Live Action Arena saw the likes of freestyle rider Gary Taylor entertain the crowds.

Dates for the 2006 show have already been announced as November 16-19, 2006.
