Double backflip madness

The world marvelled when Carey Hart managed the first backflip on a bike in the 2000 X-Games but now mad freestyle MX star Travis Pastrana has taken it to the next level by landing the first double backflip.

The two-wheeled loony attempted the trick in to a foam practice pit for his Nitro Circus 2 video but for the third film in the series he decided to go all the way and do it properly on a dirt jump.

The DVD isn’t released until December but to promote it DC Shoes, the DVD sponsor, has put a stop motion slideshow of the stunt on its website.
