Motocross in top sports

A new survey of British sporting habits has shown that more than 33,000 people take part in motocross each month – putting it 65th out of 74 sports polled.

The popularity of motocross puts it ahead of skittles in 66th and behind kayaking in 64th.

Most popular of these sports was recreational walking with an estimated 8.1million people taking part more than once a month.
