Costello gets '06 support

Maria Costello, the UK’s fastest female road racer, will be supported by clothing firm Bering for the 2006 season.

Costello currently does PR work for the French firm, and this will be the second year in which she will have her bosses as her main sponsor. In 2005 she became the first ever female to ttake a podium finish at the Isle of Man TT.

“Now I have a good sponsor in place I can begin to organise my calendar and I will be able to compete in all the major road races – at the Isle of Man and North West 200, including debuting at the Ulster GP and Southern 100,” said Costello.
