RC wins at Red Bud MX

Ricky Carmichael made it look easy at the Red Bud round of the AMA Motocross championship, getting the holeshot and the win in both motos.

The only chance for failure came when Carmichael fell early in the second moto, allowing James Stewart to take the lead, but Carmichael recovered and was back in first place by the end of lap four. Stewart took two second places for Kawasaki with Chad Reed taking two thirds.

In the MX Lites class Ryan Villopoto took the overall win from Mike Alessi and Andrew McFarlane.
