Feisty lady races Europe

1 of 1

Susie Grayson, team manager of female team Feisty Racing, became the first UK lady to compete in the European Women’s Cup on Sunday, October 22, 2006.

Grayson was racing a Yamaha R6, which she had used for just four races prior to travelling to Cartagena in Spain to take on the regulars in the championship. Despite this, she achieved a fifth place in her debut European race, despite a stuck gear dropping her from her fifth palce on the grid, and forcing her to fight her way back up through the field.
