Suzuki pair get new cars

Rizla Suzuki pair Chris Walker and Cal Crutchlow have been to Suzuki’s Milton Keynes headquarters to collect their new Swift sports cars.

Stalker’s choice is a 1.9DDiS four-wheel drive Grand Vitara. The five-door car costs £16,399.

Walker said: “I get my performance fix on the track racing Superbikes and anything else by comparison is pretty tame so I’ve gone for the practical option.

And the four-times BSB runner-up added: “It’s got bags of space, good economy and if I ever fancy going off-road it can cut it with the best. That suits me fine.”    Crutchlow opted for a racy but practical 1.6 litre WT engine Suzuki Swift Sport.

The 21–year-old current British Supersport champion said: “It just suits my image! It’s a blast to drive and you can’t help but wring the neck of it every time you get into it.

“Put simply, it is massive fun and can surprise quite a few other cars on the road with its performance, and handling.”

This car costs £11,499 and also comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, sport seats, two exhausts and metallic paint.
