Dakar Rally: Stage 10

Portugal’s Helder Rodrigues won stage 10 of the Dakar Rally, beating overall leader Marc Coma by just 44 seconds.

This was also a change to the last few days with Rodrigues on his Yamaha ending the KTM take over with his time of 40:55:10.

Cyril Despres finished the stage in Nema in third place in a time of 4:13:46, which also keeps him in overall second position.

Paul Broome was the faster of the two British riders over stage 10, completing the 400km in 6:03:29 in 89th place. This places him two positions lower than after stage nine at 113th.

Steve Malone was in 131st place on his KTM recording a time of 7:26:03. This puts the 46-year-old in overall 116th with a total time of 69:43:26.
