Plater and McGuinness at Braintree Indoor Shorttrack

TT heroes John McGuinness, Steve Plater and Gary Johnson line up against 24 of the best shorttrack riders in Europe on Sunday, December 27 at the Towerlands Centre, Braintree in Essex.

Their oppostition includes: three-times  UK champion Marco Belli from Italy, 2009 European & UK Champion Peter Boast and former European Champion Jacopo Monti, another fast Italian.

Top British stars include: British Under 21 Speedway Champion Lewis Bridger, former British Grass Track Champions Paul Hurry & Paul Cooper and indoor speedway specialist Edward Kennett who is making his shorttrack debut.

This is the first ever indoor shorttrack ever held in Europe and will be staged at the luxurious Towerlands Centre in Briantree, Essex,CM7 5BJ on Sunday December 27th with racing from 1.00pm.

The 1,000 seater arena is one of the country’s largest and most-established show-jumping venues with large car parks, licensed bar and cafe amongst the fan-friendly facilities on site.
