Reigning World Sidecar champions Tim Reeves and Greg Cluze have gotten their 2015 season back on track after an ignominious start, by taking a double victory at the third round of the series at Croatia’s Grobnik circuit.

The British-French duo lost out in the first race of the year after a collision with championship rivals Ben and Tom Birchall – with the Birchalls ruled out of the Donington race and Reeves disqualified following contact between the outfits.

Allowing former champions Pekka Päivärinta and Kirsi Kainulainen to get a head start on Reeves – after the Birchalls controversially pulled out of the series following the opening round – the Swedish duo now lead by only 5 points.

Speaking afterweards, the Kent man commented: “Job done! It’s has been a trying weekend for us, with my back was giving me big problems, but when you win like this these things seem to disappear!”

Reeves, who dominated the weekend to win the secon race by nearly ten seconds, will continue his attempt at taking a sixth title this weekend with a double header at Hungary’s Pannoniaring.
