Endurance: Haga joins Brookes and Tsuda at Yoshimura for Suzuka

World Superbike legend Noriyuki Haga will join reigning MCE British Superbike champion Josh Brookes and Suzuka MotoGP test rider Takuya at the Yoshimura Suzuki squad for this year’s Suzuka 8 Hour race next month.

The former WSBK runner-up will line up next month for the factory supported squad, as well as joining the duo for the first official test next week at the Japanese circuit.

Originally set to be joined by Moto2 world champion Johann Zarco, that plan seems to have changed after the Frenchman was not offered a seat at the factory’s MotoGP team for 2017, a spot that went instead to fellow Moto2 competitor Alex Rins.

The addition of Haga to this year’s line-up for the race is just another plus for the organisers of the event, with Nicky Hayden, Pol Espargaró and Leon Haslam among those already signed up.
