Devizes-based bothers Ollie and Tommy Bridewell will race Team NB Suzuki GSX-R1000s in BSB this year.

And the team, essentially the re-branded Vivaldi outfit from 2006, have switched from Dunlop tyres to Pirelli.

Tommy, making his debut in BSB this year after racing a Vivaldi Suzuki in British Supersport last year, said: “This is a big step for me but I’m looking forward to it. The team say it will be good if I can get into the top 15 this year but I’m aiming for top ten!”

Boston-based Team NB, leave for a three day test at the Almeria circuit in Spain at the end of February, followed by a further three-day test at the Gaudix circuit in Spain during the first week in March.

Team boss Norris Farrow, said: “We’ve signed Ollie and Tommy to continue our support of young riders and, by doing so, hopefully enhance their future opportunities within BSB.”

The other major team running Pirelli’s in BSB are Virgin Yamaha with James Haydon and Tommy Hill on the new four-valve-per-cylinder R1s.
