Mallory Park British Superbikes: practice delayed after continued rain

1 of 1

There’s currently still no track action at Mallory Park due to the continued bad weather.

It is still raining although nowhere near as heavy as it was yesterday but the problem is that the grass areas at the edge of the course are flooded and water is draining back onto the course in several places, leaving standing water in the corners.

Practice has been suspended until 10.30 when a further inspection will be made.
BSB Race Director Stuart Higgs said: “The circuit is not fit for use as it is and while it keeps raining there’s little we can do. Timed qualifying has already been cancelled but the intention is to run free practice today with Sunday’s grid positions determined by championship position.”
