Mallory British Superbikes: One practice per class if rain holds

1 of 2

Rain continues to fall at Mallory Park but, subject to the weather conditions, there will be one free practice per class this afternoon.

Most of the flooded run-off areas have been pumped out to allow standing water on the track to drain away.

The plan, again subject to weather conditions on Sunday, is to run one free practice session per class followed by racing, although one of the two KTM races have been already cancelled due to time constraints and there is likely to be a KTM double-header at a future BSB round.

Whatever happens this afternoon though Airwaves Ducati, both HM Plant and Bike Animal Honda teams and Rizla Suzuki will not take part in free practice this afternoon, taking the view that nothing can be learned from wet practice today.

Grid positions will be determined by championship position.

The sessions are scheduled to start at 14.30.
