Slow start for Snetterton BSB test

1 of 1

Any hopes the top teams of BSB might have harboured about meaningful testing at Snetterton today were dashed by miserable weather this morning, Friday, March 23, 2007.

Heavy mist and low track temperatures meant that the teams concentrated on assembling their new pit garage backdrops rather than getting their riders out on track.

The first superbike session of the day was turned into an Open Class practice when no BSB riders took the opportunity to ride. Jonathan Rea took a spin in the course safety car with BSB Race Director Stuart Higgs to assess track conditions with a view to riding later this afternoon.
