Johnny Angel wins Snetterton Superstock

Johnny Angel, the guy with the coolest name in the BSB 2007 Metzeler Racetec National Superstock Cup, won his first race of the series at Snetterton over the weekend.

He lived up to his nickname of Smokin’ Johnny Angel and left the opposition trailing in his wake. It was a truly dominant performance with Johnny leading the race from start to finish.

The first race win has been a very short time coming. According to Clarkey and the other commentators, JA has only been racing for three years and this is only the 5th race in this series. If he knew all the circuits, Angel would undoubtedly be a very serious contender for the title.

This points haul moves him well up the table after his 3rd place at Silverstone and other 8th places. It’s reported that he is not racing in the next round at Mondello Park, which we think is great pity.
