Cadwell Marshall

Just a note with regards to the BSB Cadwell park weekend. Can I just say how just one person can ruin thousands of people’s day out.

I was watching the racing on the start line but needed to get across the track for my car. As soon as the 2nd superbike started their last lap I went to the spectator crossing at the bottom of the mountain. They opened the gates for approx 5 minutes then the marshall in charge, a rather large arrogant female marshall, demanded that the gate be shut.

Myself, along with approx 2,000 spectators, stood there for 20 minutes with absolutley nothing driving past, no course car, no ambulance, no bikes. The crowd got rather heated to which her answer was to bring over a couple of security men.

She then proceeded to say that the gate wouldn’t be open until the end of the meeting. When I crossed over I approached her and said what an embarassment she was, to which she answered “f— off”.

This marshall should never be allowed in a circuit for the rest of her life, let alone take up such a role.
