Tom Tunstall gets ex-WSB Hondas

BSB privateer Tom Tunstall and the Hardinge Doodson Motorsport Team are sticking with Honda machinery in BSB this year but have upgraded to a new Honda sourced from the World Superbike Paul Bird Motorsport Vent-Axia VK team.

Tunstall has sights set on success in the Daily Star Superbike Cup Championship and said: “I’m very happy with our preparations for 2009.

“he new bike looks great and although I haven’t ridden it yet everyone I’ve spoken to says it’s a big improvement over the old model. I can’t wait to get down to Spain and start testing”.

Tunstall is continuing his partnership with Hardinge Machine Tools Ltd who sold over £18million worth of CNC machine tools in the UK in 2008 and have strong links with the motorsport engineering sector including technical partnerships with Force India F1 team.

Tunstall is testing in Spain and the UK before the 12 round championship kicks off over the Easter weekend at Brands Hatch on April 13.
