Silverstone BSB: Ellison takes race two win

1 of 1

James Ellison concluded a successful day for Airwaves Yamaha after winning the second superbike race at Silverstone.

Team-mate and newly crowned British champion Leon Camier finished second after a hard fought race through the pack after he ran on to the grass.

HM Plant rider Josh Brookes finished third. Brookes has now moved up to fourth in the championship standings.

The initial superbike race was red flagged on the first lap due to a huge oil spill on the back straight, which causes several riders to fall.

The restarted race was shortened to 18 laps, instead of the original 20.
