Walker back in BSB with a GSX-R1000

Chris Walker will be racing a privately-run Suzuki GSX-R1000 at Brands Hatch on Easter Bank Holiday Monday in the first round of the British Superbike championship.

Walker’s last-minute ride is thanks top tuner Ray Stringer who has prepared the ex-Rutter GSX-R1000 TT.

Walker said: “I’m delighted to be on the grid again this year. Ray came along with the offer of this Suzuki at the very last minute and it was the perfect opportunity for me.”

“We’ve missed out on testing but I’m aiming to be competitive after the first couple of rounds.

“There’s a big chance we’ll get a significant improvement in our machinery within a few rounds – but even with the bike we’ve got, we’re not giving anything away.”
