Andrews signs For PR Racing

Simon Andrews has signed to ride for PR Racing in the 2011 MCE British Superbike Evo class on a Kawasaki ZX-10R.

The deal maintain Andrews link with Kawasaki, after previously racing for the official MSS Colchester team in BSB for two years, and he said: “I am really looking forward to being back on a Kawasaki for the third year running.

“This year’s Evo series looks like being a very competitive championship and with the team’s official backing from Kawasaki Motors UK, I believe that the combination of the new ZX10-R and my experience on the bike will make us a strong contender from the off.”

Liverpool-based PR Racing’s Development Director, Julian Mosquera added; “It is absolutely fantastic that we have secured a rider of Simon’s calibre. Given where BSB is going technically, it is a great opportunity for PR Racing and Kawasaki Motors UK.

“We are really excited at the opportunities and expectations for the season ahead, and cannot wait for the Easter weekend and the first round at Brands Hatch.”
