Polita tests Panigale ready for BSB return

Italian Alex Polita is due to return to the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship grid later in the season as he continued testing the Ducati Panigale during the official test at Donington Park on Tuesday.

Polita was running in Lloyds British Ducati colours and was working alongside Ducati Coventry’s John Hackett as the team continue the development work on the latest Superbike from the Italian manufacturer ahead of their return to the grid.

Polita said: “We have been doing a lot of work in Italy and the team have also been working hard so it is good to be back. We are hoping for dry sessions this afternoon as the second one did begin to rain but I am happy and I am looking forward to being back in BSB.”
