The MCE British Superbike paddock’s new series, the KTM RC390 Cup, will have the backing of consumer finance giant Santander for its debut season, with the Spanish bank coming onboard as an extension with its finance deals with KTM under the KTM Finance banner.
The series is now open for interested parties to get in touch, and is aimed at 13-18 year olds on KTM’s new 44bhp sports machine. Pricing for the series has still to be confirmed, but it’s believed that the entire season-long package including bikes and tyres will come in at under £10,000.
Paul Munns, National Sales Manager from Santander Consumer Finance UK, said: “We’re very excited to play a part in what will no doubt be a very exciting and successful championship. Santander Consumer Finance UK already enjoys a great working relationship with KTM UK and the opportunity to work with them to help bolster future motorcycle racing talent, while helping to promote this area of the business within the best domestic motorcycle racing championship, was an opportunity that couldn’t be missed.”
Interested parties who would like more information on the race series next year need to email firstname.lastname@example.org and in the subject line put RC 390 Cup 2015, including name, address, post code, age, riding experience and local KTM dealer.
