Silverstone BSB: Kiyonari claims pole

Ryuichi Kiyonari rode bravely in drying conditions to take his second pole of the season for the penultimate round at Silverstone.

Kiyonari was able to hold off title rival Shane Byrne despite a fast lap late in the session from the reigning champion.

Gary Mason will complete the front row with a surprise third place onboard the Tsingtao Kawasaki.

The second row will consist of John Kirkham, Josh Brookes and James Westmoreland.
