Jenny Tinmouth has made her on-track debut on the Honda Racing Fireblade ahead of the 2015 MCE British Superbike season, joining teammates Jason O’Halloran and Dan Linfoot for a private test at Monteblanco near Seville.

Speaking yesterday, both the day before her first ride on the bike and her birthday, the Chester native commented: It is a brilliant feeling to be here at the track getting ready for tomorrow. It is amazing to be a part of a big team as it is something I haven’t had before and to see the guys prepping the bikes ready for tomorrow is so exciting. This first test with the team is the best birthday present I have ever had! We will be looking at my positioning on the bike this afternoon and then tomorrow is the first laps on circuit, so I can’t wait.

“I think for me the first test will be about feeling the difference with the factory Honda compared to my bike I raced last year, which was getting a bit long in the tooth – this is the real thing and of a much better specification, so I expect it to feel so much better than what I am used to.”

“After speaking to Dan and Jason they have both said how impressed they were after their first test and with the hard work the team have done with development, so that is something to really look forward to. I am so pleased to have this opportunity with Honda, I just want to learn the bike and build up throughout the test and then I will leave here happy.”
